This year has been incredible and surreal in every way possible. The year started by consulting with A&E Networks and #mentoring children on the #reboot of #PsychicKids. The show #premiered in the United States, England, Australia, Canada and Africa. While #filming the show, I traveled to California, Florida, Maryland, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, and Utah. I have always been terrified to fly, so I ended up learning how to fly an airplane! Then I ended up hopping onto a plane to fly from Pennsylvania to California. I also got to experience taking an Amtrak train across the country. For the first time in my life, I was able to see the world for what it was; which is imperfectly perfect. I have experienced some of America’s most haunted locations, partaken in Native American ceremonies with elders, and met some of the most amazing people too! I have been interviewed by #CNN, #FoxNews, #MSN, #ABC, #HollywoodTV, #VegasFilmCritic, #IHeartRadio, and #DailyMotion. I had the privilege of meeting eight amazing families with very talented children. I was also lucky enough to meet amazing producers and directors that I admire and started friendships with. On top of all of that, my brother and his fiancée had a beautiful baby girl named Serenity Rose. She is my first niece! There was so much more that I experienced along the way as well.
Although this year has been amazing, there is one haunting that has tried to take over my life. It has almost won on multiple occasions as well. I’m referring to the haunting of my #past.
The last three years of my life have been a real struggle. I lost two people that meant the world to me. The first person was my Uncle Rose Minor Kuhn to #cancer. I lost the other person because I did not follow the #GoldenRule of “treating others the way you want to be treated.” No words can ever explain how much I loved the two of them. My heart has been broken for the past three years. I have accepted everything as my #karma, and it is something I have come to terms with and accepted. Unfortunately, I feel like it was much-deserved karma. I have learned that the past will always be present, as long as we remember it and have a memory of it. The past will only live on in a negative way if we remember it that way. The past can either be a #blessing or a #curse. All of this reminds us why it is so important to be cautious of the decisions and choices you make in your life.
The #OneMessage I want to leave everyone with for the start of 2020 is that the past does not exist outside of our memories. The choices you make, the decisions you undergo, and the situations you face will be what creates your success in finding happiness. Before you make any decisions, be sure to tread lightly and to be confident in your choices and decisions. It was never written anywhere that this world was meant to be easy.
You cannot let a few terrible moments define your happiness, which is what so many of us do. I have been guilty of doing this. In each moment of happiness, the haunting of my past was present. There are two different ways to look back on your year and have the correct perspective. The healthy and positive way to think is, “This has been an amazing year even though it was filled with #sadness, #frustration and #stress.” Whereas the unhealthy and negative way to think is, “This year was terrible because it was filled with sadness, frustration, and stress.” The past will always be present as long as we remember. Therefore, it is so important to make positive memories.
I promise you that I thought 2019 was going to be the exact same as #2018. Everything I experienced this year was unexpected and a miracle. Your break will come when you least expect it. I want to thank EVERYONE who has been following my journey and #MyLife. I would not have been able to accomplish anything without your support. Knowing that my journey is inspiring others is the only reason I am doing what I am. I care deeply for all of you.
Feel free to #share this post if you or anyone you know is struggling to find happiness in their life. I promise that there is happiness in every moment of every day. We all just need to take the time to find it!
Happy New Year and best wishes in #2020! Love you all!
