Welcome to the site of Psychic Medium and Visionary Ryan Michaels,
I once heard, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” That quote reminded me of the following story:
Imagine you are in your house and have your car keys in your hand. The power fails and the lights go out. You can’t see anything! You stumble around in your living room and you drop your keys. You look around for a moment, but then you realize you will never find them in the dark. You look outside and notice the streetlights are on, and a lightbulb goes off in your head. You think to yourself, “I’m not going to sit around here in the dark and look for my keys when there is light outside. I’m going to go out there, under the streetlight, and look for my keys.” Now you are outside, under the light, looking for your keys. Then your neighbor comes along and asks you what you are doing. You tell him that you are looking for your keys. Voluntarily, the neighbor offers to help you look for the keys. So now both of you are looking for the keys when he asks, “Where did you drop the keys?” You tell him that you dropped them in your house. The neighbor is very confused and asks, “If you dropped the keys inside your house, then why are we out here looking for them? That just doesn’t make any sense.”
At first this story might not make any sense to you, but we have all lost our keys inside, and searched for them outside. When we are faced with an internal struggle, we often look for external solutions. My mission is to help individuals confront those internal struggles and bring attention to the answers that we have within ourselves. In most cases, that means letting go of our past. There is a great example of this provided by an Indian yogi, mystic, and author named Jaggi Vasudev (who is often referred to as Sadhguru). Sadhguru says, “Suffering is something we do in our mind. It’s a pain that happens in our body and you take it in your mind and multiply it a thousand times or a million times, depending on how capable you are - then suffer it a million times over. Right now, most human beings are like this. What happened ten years ago can make a person still suffer. What MAY happen the day after tomorrow - they already suffer. They are not suffering life, they think they are suffering life but they are not. They are suffering from two of the most fantastic traits that human beings alone have - a vivid sense of memory and a fantastic sense of imagination.”
The past is defined as the time before the present, but the present is defined as a period of time that is occurring now! However, the future is defined as events that have not occurred yet. There are three separate moments of existence, but two don’t exist outside of our minds. Yet, we live our lives as though they are one moment in time. All we have is the present; the present is all we’ve ever had, and all we will ever have.
My mission is simply to help individuals be happy in this moment because this moment is our life. By changing the way we look at things, the things we look at will change. This includes the memories of our past and our perception of the future. Always remember, “You cannot lose another life than the one you’re living now, or live another one than the one you’re losing. The longest amounts to the same as the shortest. The present is the same for everyone; its loss is the same for everyone; and it should be clear that a brief instant is all that is lost. For you can’t lose either the past or the future; how could you lose what you don’t have?"
No matter what pain and heartbreak you have experienced in your life up until now, please understand that it all happened for a reason. Now your journey has brought you here, reading this, at this very moment. I do not know you, but I care about you. Please let me help you find the answers.
Love and Light,
